What to expect in your visit

Upon arrival you will be greeted by our front desk staff, they will ask you for your account number, your account can also be accessed by your phone #. If you have not been here before they will obtain your information. Your Name, Address, Phone #, Alterative #, Work #, and some form of Proof of address, Pets Name, Pets Age, Vaccine History, Rabies Tag #, and e-mail address if one is available. We do send reminders via email.

Once your set-up in our system or we found your account #, they will ask you what pet you have with you today and what is the reason for the visit.  In some cases the receptionist will offer Express, an express technician is available for non-diagnosis visits; See our express page for details.  Your method of payment will then be confirmed and you will be given a number.  This number represents where you are in line, our receptionist will give you an idea of how long you have to wait to be seen by letting you know that you are number xx and number xx is being seen currently.  Informing you also that there are currently x amount of Veterinarians seeing clients. 

We cannot determine the amount of time the Veterinarian will need to diagnosis a sick pet, just please be patient and understand you to will get the same attention when it is your turn. 

Once you are placed in a room, the exam room assistant will go over any concerns you have.  They will obtain your pets vitals. They will go over with you any vaccinations your pet is due for or will be due for soon.  The exam room assistant is very informative and we encourage you to ask any questions you may have regarding heartworm preventatives, flea preventatives or any general questions.  Please note our exam room assistant cannot diagnosis your pet if it is sick it needs to see a Veterinarian.  Once the Exam room assistant has taken your pet’s information he or she will place your travel sheet on the door for the Doctor. Your room # will be written on the Veterinarian’s pod-board.  The Veterinarians then go in order of the numbers to see the clients.

Once the Veterinarian has examined and treated your pet the exam assistant will walk you to the receptionist for check out using your travel sheet. Once your bill is entered you will be given the dollar amount, we accept cash, check and most major credit cards.  You will then be given a receipt for the visit for your records.
